Presidential Fellow, U.S. Small Business Administration
Nareg Sagherian is a Presidential Fellow from the Small Business Administration’s Office of Innovation and Investment. Prior to his transition to the public sector, Nareg was Director of Finance for a small business consulting firm in Washington, DC. Before that opportunity he worked as a Financial Analyst for Booz Allen Hamilton supporting the Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) as well as the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate – Chemical and Biological Division. Nareg is currently pursuing a certificate in Legislative Studies from the Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University. He is a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School with a Master of Science in Finance and a Graduate Certificate in Investments. He previously graduated from Wayne State University with a Master of Science in Medical Sciences and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology & Cognitive Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Near Eastern Studies. Aside from the professional, he is happy to discuss Detroit sports, exercising, movie references, and the endless amount of pranks that are played between his family members.
